Prime Reasons Why More And More Companies Turn To Outsourcing Service Providers

Posted under SEO & SEM by royvan on Friday 27 March 2009 at 3:19 pm
What really are the reasons why more and more businesses and companies turn to outsourcing service providers?

That question might have lots of answers but I am to discuss the ones which are of greater gravity. One certain thing, companies are outsourcing to a number of bpo services providers because of great benefits they can get from them as compared to hiring usual office workers for them. Various benefits of outsourcing are the prime factors why they outsource and a number of these are the following:

The Cost
While hiring an office worker to handle certain IT tasks can make them spend for at least $3000 per month, outsourcing service providers can make a huge difference in terms of costs for one can hire a full-time dedicated staff for as low as $600 per month. Moreover, having your tasks outsourced would also signify that you are slashing down a substantial amount operation costs–well that includes saving costs of operation tools and other equipment.

Efficiency Factor
Benefits of outsourcing includes efficiency. also Low cost would just mean that you are capable of elevating the number of workers and this play an imperative role particularly if you are to work for certain projects which need to meet deadlines and those in bigger scales.

In addition, because there are lots of bpo services providers available (you can easily find them though the Internet) this means you can easily count on them in times you need their services. In usual cases, these outsourcing service providers have staff that are readily available when times need them to cater IT outsourcing demands.

Flexibility
Outsourcing services providers recognize the fact that demands for workforce require adjustment of time so they usually create programs which make them accessible 24/7. In other words, most of them have 2 working shifts ( day shift and the graveyard shift) to better serve clients in times of their needs. This also signifies that you can rely on their services wherever you are and whenever you need them.

The Quality of Output
Although some still have doubts on the quality of service output outsourcing service providers can provide, there is an exponential growth on the number of business individuals who realize that outsourcing to these companies does not compromise the quality and integrity of output and that is best reflected on their business growth.

So, these are just a number of the reasons why more and more businesses and individuals who prefer outsourcing to these bpo companies. Maybe, these outsourcing companies can make a big improvement to your business too. Why not consider outsourcing to them?

During my next post, I will be giving ideas on the criteria in selecting the most ideal outsourcing service providers. So, keep on browsing.

Google Begins Implementing New Ads Scheme–Behavioral Advertising

Posted under SEO & SEM,Web News Updates by royvan on Wednesday 11 March 2009 at 3:09 pm

Google introduced another form of advertising scheme called behavioral targeting and said to be implemented starting on Wednesday by showing ads to individuals based on their previous online activity. The program has been welcomed by most of its competitors but also has ignited criticism from some privacy advocates.

Image shows Nicole Wong, Google’s deputy general counsel, explaining the newly-launched advertising program

Google is said to be using a cookie–a small piece of program that is integrated to a web browser–to follow users as they visit from one page to another that show ads through its Adsense program and then assign those users to categories based on the substance of the web pages they visit.

This newly-introduced advertising scheme is set to be tested with several dozens of advertisers but Google plans to widen its scope.

Meanwhile, some critics, analysts say that the Google’s venture to this so called ‘behavioral targeting’ program could bring the company’s relationship with web publishers that utilizes its advertising services into a higher degree of complexities as there are many publishers may be reluctant to give information about their user when they visit other sites.

How To Check DoFollow Links–Easy Ways

Posted under SEO & SEM by royvan on Wednesday 11 March 2009 at 11:54 am

I was actually planning to write other topic today but I opted to discuss about dofollow and nofollow links because I just received an email requesting for a ‘guest-post’ to this blog–anchored to that request was a question on whether this blog is dofollow or not ( of course, we understand the very objective of that question).

It just seems to me that, until now, there are still lots of blog/ site owners who do not know exactly how to determine if a site is programmed to have do follow links or not ( that person I mentioned is a good example). So, for the benefit of those people who want to understand better about this matter, I have this discussed here.

Determining dofollow links is quite simple. All you need to do is to check the source code of the page you want to know. If you are using a Firefox browser, just right-click the page to view the source code. If you see a ‘nofollow’ word, then obviously the links are nofollow. Alternatively, you can also check the codes by clicking the ‘view’ menu and then the ‘page source’ in the drop-down options.

The idea I have presented above is specifically and ideally applicable when you try to check a page with just few links. But what if you are to check multiple links on a particular page? It takes time, isn’t it? Yes it is. No worries, there is another yet effective way in determining whether a site has a dofollow links or not.

When you are to check multiple links, the best tool you can use to determine if these links are dofollow or not is a tiny Firefox plug-in called ‘NoDoFollow‘( check your Firefox browser if this plug-in is already installed–check the drop-down list in the ‘tools’ menu.If not yet, you can download it-free and easy). This will make checking the links a lot easier.

By just enabling the NoDofollow’ plug-in, you can see links highlighted in 2 different colors which signify dofollow or nofollow links. Those links highlighted in blue are the ‘dofollow’. Otherwise, links are ‘nofollow’—check out the illustration which shows a page having dofollow links …

Now that I have written this topic, I hope this gives an important information-useful to those individuals who are new in link building and link trading.

And, the moment I received an email asking the same question again, I think I’ll not be spending time replying and explaining again and again–they will just be redirected to this article.

Easy Ways To Examine Site Authority

Posted under SEO & SEM by royvan on Tuesday 10 March 2009 at 3:25 pm

Algorithm which measures the authority and relevance of your web page is not disclosed by search engines. This is one of the reasons why many are struggling, striving in finding ways to make their sites appear with higher rank against their competitors. The good thing is, there are a number of strategies you can do to figure out how relevant your web page is in a given query.

Examine web page key blocks…

You can do testing for authority by examining the key blocks of your web page. Go to Google search engine, input a particular key phrase which you think can make your page rank on the first page ( you do this as if you are an ordinary person searching for a particular topic). Then, click your site and try to examine each block of your page ( your navigation menu, each paragraph, visible caption, group of links—these are your blocks) by inserting on each block the keyword phrase you have inputed on search engine’s text field. By the gift of intuition, you will surely be able to determine if your site is authoritative or relevant enough based on the keyword you have used. And then you are able to determine how valuable your site is at a given keyword.

Check inbound links…

Measure the authority of your site by checking your inbound links (links from third party pointing to your site). As you know, your site’s links can be divided into two major categories—the organic or natural and the artificial ones. Natural links are those made by sites who link to your site because of relevance; artificial are those you acquired perhaps with effort, like buying links, trading to other sites, etc. After grouping the links you have, focus now on natural links. By examining those sites which are linking to you naturally (determining how relevant those sites are) you are able to know how authoritative and relevant your site is for other sites—being valuable to other sites (which is acquired through natural linking) is what we call a real factor for authority & relevance and not just acquired through link trading.

Try linking to your own site…

Another thing you can do is to try linking to your site. Using the key phrase or targeted expression you have, try if you can use it to linking your self—as if you are third party linking to a relevant site. Again, by intuition, you must be able to weigh if your site is worth-linking for at your targeted keywords. If not, find other sites ( ideally 10 sites) which you think highly relevant to your targeted expression. Examine those sites—their elements and structure. In doing so, you can extract substantial idea which is necessary when improving your site relevancy and authority ( of course without violating the intellectual property rights).

The very core reason of doing the strategies presented above is to determine the real value of your site—not just by making it ranked higher on search engines when particular queries are done. The point is, lots of websites tend to have a high-ranking value but are less or not relevant to a specific expression or keywords. Many are just relevant in terms of keywords but when it comes to content, these site fail to meet what the user really want—this is what we want to avoid. To become more relevant, to become more valuable, and authoritative, optimize your site using keywords that are highly relevant to the content you have. And, if you think your site is most likely to fail with this requirement, try to polish your site elements by considering the idea presented above.
