Useful Tips for Adwords ( GAP) Examinees – What Should Be Done During Examination
In my previous post, I have written some tips about the things you can do during your Adwords review – pre-examination strategies . This time I will be sharing the things that you can do during your examination.
Below are some strategies I used during my examination – and it helped me a lot. No doubt it will help you too.
- *Before you start taking the exam, see to it that you have checked your Internet connection as well as the PC that you are going to use. Any malfunctions, Internet connection failure will not stop the time. In other words, the clock will continue on its ticking until it runs out once you have started the exam. Though, Google allows you to submit a letter for consideration, it is hard to prove that the circumstance is, indeed, valid.
- *Be prepared. If you have scheduled your self today, you should be absolutely certain that you are prepared to take the exam. When you are unprepared, it will just cause you anxiousness that later will make you out of concentration. Being out of focus is a big factor on exam failure.
- *Prepare your resources/ reference. Before registering, make your Adwords resources available. Open multiple tab and have your resources available for quick reference. Opening the Adwords Learning Center can also be a big help. But of course, see to it that you have familiarized every topics and sub-topics so that when you refer to it, you can easily find what you are looking for. Take note, you are just given an hour and half to answer 115 questions ( more or less). In average, you are given less than a minute for every question.
- *In answering, answer first the questions easy for you and then go back to questions you have not answered yet. After answering all of them, and if you still have time, review your answers. You might have overlooked some things.
- *It is also important that you keep an eye on questions which appear to be similar in the Adwords sample quizzes – be careful on tricky questions. Example are those questions stated in affirmative in quizzes but negative in exam – or the other way around. Keep an eye on questions like “which of the following is…or Which of the following is NOT” because many exam takers get trapped on it.
So, that’s it. Hope this post can help you in your Adwords examination. I wish you luck.
